Indycar 'Madden' Ratings

I was playing Madden 16 (football) the other day and was wondering why some players were rated so highly and others not-so-much. Then, as my mind often does, I started thinking about a whole host of random ideas, one of which is giving Madden-style ratings to Indycar drivers who have been signed for the 2016 Verizon Indycar Season.

In Madden, players are rated on different categories on a scale of 0-99, with the categories being attributes like speed, awareness, catching, tackling, and lots more. While their ratings are complex and vary by position (for example, a QB who is rated 99 at QB would not translate to a 99 as a receiver), the point of the rating is to have a number represent the overall standing of a player.

Taking this philosophy and translating it to Indycar, I have devised seven categories (ovals, road courses, street courses, consistency, aggressiveness, qualifying, and personality) and taken the average rating of those seven categories to come up with an overall rating. Remember, this is just my opinion! We may disagree but this is how I would rate the drivers. Here is the breakdown by category, followed by individual driver breakdown of those who have been signed on for the 2016 season (sorted by overall rating):
