Season Review: Justin Wilson

In a series of blogs that will be featured throughout the offseason, I review and talk about all 21 full-time drivers of the 2013 Indycar Season one at a time. I try to be as honest as I can in these reveiws, and I would like to hear your thoughts on what I say. Enjoy:

Justin Wilson
#19 Dale Coyne Racing

6th in points scoring 472 points.

Best finish: 2nd (Sonoma)
Worst finish: 22nd (Detroit Race 2)

Best moment: Second place at Sonoma
Worst moment: Crash at Fontana

Grade: A

Justin Wilson is a badass. He was without a doubt one of the most consistent drives in the field. The only two DNFs he had was a wreck he was collected in at Detroit Race 2 and a nasty crash at Fontana. Other than that, Wilson just seemed like he was up there at every single race. He podiumed four times and finished in the top-ten 13 times. He was also the highest placing Honda at the Indianapolis 500, once again showing his badassary. A crash at Fontana which saw Justin getting t-boned by Tristan Vautier left Justin with a broken pelvis. An unfortunate incident put a damper on a great season.

Justin will once again be back for Dale Coyne Racing in 2014. Can he crack the top-five in points? He sure has the ability to, and he has been quick in testing so far this season.
