Round 11 Power Rankings: Teams

Here are the power rankings following round ten at Toronto. Number next to team represents change in rankings based off of last week's rankings, and new this week, the three digit number next to the "change in position" is average points per driver so far in the 9 races for that team, these exclude one-offs:

Biggest mover: BHA and Rahal Letterman Racing (+2)
Biggest loser: A lot of little losers at (-1)

Helio Castroneves Race winner Helio Castroneves of Brazil, driver of the #3 Team Penske Chevrolet Dallara celebrates with second place finishe Takuma Sato of Japan and third place finsher Will Power of Australia the IZOD IndyCar Series Edmonton Indy at Edmonton City Centre Airport on July 22, 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

1. Team Penske +1  305.33
Penske was back in true Death Star form at Edmonton. Can they crush the Rebellion at Mid Ohio?

2. Andretti Autosport -1  283.67
Compared to how things have been going for them, Edmonton was a failure. And just like almost every race this year, the final running order was Hunter-Reay, Hinch, and Marco when they crossed the line.

3. Chip Ganassi Racing +1  253
Three out of the four finishing in the top ten. Unfortunately though, Dario has a big hole to climb out of to win the title. Their best, and maybe only hope, is Dixon.

4. Schmidt Hamilton Racing -1  276
Pagenaud had a dreadful race, and Kimball did not help him after wrecking him in the last corner on the last lap. The car didn't seem to be as good as it has been for Simon.

5. Bryan Herta Autosport +2  194
Fantastic race by Tags. The team led the most laps and finally had a race where things fell their way. Using scuffed reds on the last stint cost them.

6. Panther Dreyer and Reinbold Racing -1  219
A horrible weekend. No, an awful weekend. No, a horrawful weekend. Despite Servia having issues in the race, he had a fast car in the last stint. JR had some issue in the race. But both cars did a terrible job in qualifying.

7. KV Racing -1  221.67
Even TK said the team needed to step things up. Maybe Cavin was right....... Hahaha, who am I kidding. Just an off weekend, they'll be on it in Mid Ohio.

8. Rahal Letterman Racing +2  216
BAM. They finished P2. That's a statement. This team has been fantastic on street courses.

9. Dale Coyne Racing -1  197
Wilson with a top ten despite not getting out of the first stage of knockout qualifying. Jakes impressed in qualifying, but was marred by a mechanical issues in the race.

10. Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing -1  166
Newgarden ran the fastest lap, so they continue to be fast. They just need to string a complete weekend together.

11. AJ Foyt Enterprises 0  191
Conway looked carving his way through the field on his way to a P11 finish.

12. Dragon Racing 0  110
Sleeping Dragon Racing has been snoozing all season. Doubly sad that their best results Bourdais got a penalty which was inevitably not his fault.

13. Ed Carpenter Racing 0   175
Apparently Ed has finished a lot of races this season.... I guess whoever said this ignored the fact that Ed has as an average finish of P16 this year. His last full time season in 2009, his average finish was P12.29 at the end of the season.

14. HVM Racing 0  135
You know what they say, in order to finish first.....

Let me know what you think.
